Show-Up Fee · We Run Everything

You give us the venue and the crowd — we handle the rest, completely hands-off for you.

  • Show-up fee based on travel distance to your venue
  • We handle ALL ticketing — drivers sign up and pay through our website, before or at the event
  • Optional strapper crew — add our strappers for a strapper fee, or have your people load & strap
  • We manage the run list and schedule all day — drivers get their results on the spot

What is a mobile dyno?
A mobile dyno — also called a portable dyno, a mobile dynamometer, a dyno truck or a dyno trailer — is a full chassis dynamometer built onto a trailer, so horsepower testing comes to you instead of your truck going to a shop. The DynoNow rig is a DYNOCOM-equipped, 3,000+ HP capable mobile dyno with a drive-on, drive-off deck — trucks pull straight on, run, and pull straight off. No backing up, no haul-in.
How much does a mobile dyno event cost?
Every quote is custom because travel distance drives the price. There are two structures: a Full Service option (show-up fee based on distance, optional strapper crew, and we run all driver sign-ups and ticketing) or a Flat Rate option (one fee based on distance plus the hours the dyno is live, and you run sign-ups your way). Send a request with your date and venue and we’ll reply with real numbers for both, usually within 24–48 hours.
How much does it cost to rent a mobile dyno?
Mobile dyno rental is quoted per event rather than published as a flat price list, because travel distance and the number of hours the dyno is live are what move the number. Flat Rate rental means one fee covering travel plus dyno time — you run sign-ups your own way and keep what you charge your entrants. Can you run a dyno competition or horsepower shootout?
Yes — a dyno competition is one of the best reasons to book. We run the classes you want, put every pass on a live leaderboard so the crowd can follow along, and archive every run permanently at dyno.beamanbuilds.com. A dyno shootout, a diesel throwdown, a truck dyno competition or an open horsepower challenge all work on the same rig.
How do I host a dyno event?
Pick a date and a venue with room to park the trailer and stage vehicles, then send us a request. We reply with quotes for both structures — Full Service, where we handle driver sign-ups and ticketing, or Flat Rate, where you run it yourself. Once the date is locked we bring the dyno, the ramps, the safety gear and the operator. You bring the trucks. Full detail on hosting a dyno day.
How far will the mobile dyno travel?
We’re based in Tooele County, Utah, and cover the whole state — Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo, Logan, St. George — plus Boise, Las Vegas, Reno, Denver, Phoenix, Billings, Cheyenne and anywhere else inside roughly a 12-hour drive. That radius covers Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, New Mexico and much of California, Oregon and Washington. Farther out? Tell us where and we’ll quote it.
What does my venue need to host the dyno?
Just space. The rig is fully self-contained — we bring the dyno, ramps, straps, safety equipment, and the operator. A level area with room for the trailer and a staging lane for trucks waiting to run is all it takes. Parking lots, fairgrounds, racetracks, and dirt lots all work.
Can AWD and 4WD trucks run on the mobile dyno?
Yes — the mobile rig is AWD and 4WD capable, rated to 3,000+ horsepower and 240+ MPH. Diesel trucks, gas trucks, and performance builds are all welcome.
Do you do weekend events?
Absolutely — that’s when most dyno days happen. Weekends, weekdays, and multi-day events are all on the table.
How do drivers sign up and pay for runs?
Your choice. On the Full Service option, drivers sign up and pay through our website and we manage the whole run list. On the Flat Rate option, you control sign-ups — charge per pull, bundle runs with event entry, or make them free.
Do drivers get their dyno results?
Every driver gets printed and digital results, every pull posts to a live event leaderboard the crowd can watch in real time, and every run is archived permanently at dyno.beamanbuilds.com.
